Experience a piece of history by holding your wedding or special event on the site where miner Mel Davis built his home in 1930. Located just three miles off Interstate 5 within the natural beauty of the Siskiyou Mountains, Golden Acres uniquely entwines an enchanting, woodsy landscape of towering old-growth firs with a historical and active gold mining setting. Create your personalized story by choosing adaptable layouts and having the flexibility to design your unique spaces through custom backdrops and access to our decoration inventory. To reduce your stress, we offer longer hours that can accommodate a rehearsal, ceremony, reception, after-party, and overnight accommodations. A wide variety of service packages are also available, including catering, bar options (dry juice bar or regular bar), décor, event coordination, officiant services, photography, massage, gym, and recreational activities such as gold panning. Golden Lodge, sided with original cedar bark and interior walls of knotty pine, has a bridal party en suite complete with several hair and make-up stations. The groomsmen's quarters include a tournament-sized pool table, chess table, big-screen TV, and hot tub that makes getting ready on your big day extra special. Golden Acres has onsite parking and can accommodate guests up to 200 people. Facilitate memories that your guests will be talking about long after the occasion is over.
